How does Michel Clouscard link praxis and psyche, and why does he see in May '68 and the ideology of desire a counter-revolution that prepares a neofascism?

Dominique Pagani starts from a question from the audience about L'Être et le code. He first distinguishes the "three Clouscards" and draws the difference between error and illusion: in illusion, the false is the necessary inverse of the true. He then presents L'Être et le code as the history of pre-capitalist France, where each mode of production produces its own psyche: epic or courtly love, Corneille or Racine, Descartes or Pascal. He then sets out the two moments of capitalism according to Clouscard, savings capitalism and consumption capitalism, with the Marshall Plan as the turning point. May '68 thus appears as a counter-revolution that eliminates Gaullism and communism and replaces the social with the societal. He arrives at Néofascisme et idéologie du désir: the discourse of desire, carried by Deleuze, ecologism and the setting of all against all, lead the former communist voter toward Le Pen.
